Agenda PAC Announces Six-Figure GOTV  Digital Buy in Pennsylvania 

Ad Buy Will Target Pro-Equality, Pro-Choice Voters Across the State to Mobilize and Persuade Them with Two Weeks Until Election Day 

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) — Today, Agenda PAC announced the launch of a six-figure digital ad campaign to highlight the urgency and importance of this election for equality, choice and the fate of democracy itself. With two weeks to go until Election Day, this new ad buy will reach a universe of 150,000 Pennsylvania voters who have high equality and post-Dobbs/pro-choice interest scores – but who also need to hear more messaging to get them off the sidelines and into the voting booth. Targeted voters – including younger voters – in Philadelphia’s Collar Counties in this universe will receive a higher rotation of ads.  The $100,000 buy will run on digital platforms including Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram. 

“The Republicans running at the top of the ticket in Pennsylvania are out of touch,”  said Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, Chair of Agenda PAC. “One is from out of state. The other we’d send out of state if someone would take him. But they are both out of their minds. Too much is at stake in this race — our very freedoms. We have to win for Democrats up and down the ballot.”

The spot, “Siren,” slams Republican candidates for Governor and Senate in Pennsylvania, Doug Mastriano and Mehmet Oz, for promoting a fascist, anti-truth agenda, while urging voters to protect their hard-fought liberties by voting for Democrats including Josh Shapiro and John Fetterman.  The ad highlights LGBTQ+ rights, choice and the need to defend democracy.

“Agenda PAC is proud to make this strategic buy to mobilize a crucial bloc of voters in Pennsylvania who we need to turnout if we’re going to defeat Doug Mastriano and hold the Senate,” said Ted Bordelon, Executive Director of Agenda PAC. “We’re proud to stand on the frontlines of democracy, LGBTQ+ rights and choice in the state where Agenda PAC was founded.” 

This new campaign comes on the heels of a recent report conducted by the Human Rights Campaign showing major growth in LGBTQ+ voters in the coming decades – as many as 1-in-7 voters will identify as LGBTQ+ in 2030. Last weekend, Agenda PAC launched a run of digital ads targeting LGBTQ+ voters across the state of Pennsylvania on the popular dating app Grindr. The ads hit the inbox of every person with the app on their mobile device geofenced in Pennsylvania ahead of the state’s October 24th voter registration deadline.  According to UCLA’s Williams Institute, 21% of LGBTQ+ people are not  registered – higher than non-LGBTQ+ people (17%).
